First Mull Trip 26
With May bringing the usual run of good weather it was time to head up to Mull. After a very smooth flight up the landing into Mull was tricky with windshear reporting coming in on 07. Ben Cruachan - "The Aldhani heist" On the way back the sunset was amazing and even managed to get a photo of bravo juilet in the sun next to a 767. This kept the spotters amoungest us happy!

First Mull Trip
As the long days approach and the good weather holding it was time for a trip to Mull. Meeting at the airport on a sunny Monday evening we fueled up and lumbered into the sunny sky. Heading to Mull Given how hungry we were we opted for a direct routing up towards Oban passed the North end of Loch Lomond. Eshott
With winter very slowly retreating for the year it was time for the first Phoenix fly out of 2025. After much debate it was decided that the venue would be Eshott just North of Newcastle. After a bumpy departure we routed down towards Lanark then across to Peebles to follow the Tweed to Kelso in a case of I Follow Rivers (IFR). Happy New Year
With the start of 2025 offering some cold clear days it was time for some flying to start the year off. Temperatures had dropped well below freezing and we got in early to make sure we could de-ice the planes on time. After 1.5 hours we were ready to start the dance to get the plane started.
