After a wet start to the year through June a good run of weather was upon us. After being away down south FX engine was ready for an engine run. The service bulletin calls for a 2 hour run with 75% power then 65% and 75% alternating in the second hour. With the plane and weather ready we headed for a route down to Berwick Upon Tweed and then up and back over Edinburgh airport.
With it being a Sunday morning approaching summer Edinburgh approach was very busy but did an amazing job accommodating our request to cross overhead routing back towards Cumbernauld. This allowed for some excellent views of Edinburgh and the airport!
