With the winter upon us and the nights coming in early a clear night in November offered the chance to fly up and see the supermoon over the UK on the 17th of November. With the red head lamp attached we blasted off into the clear night sky to see the Moon. The supermoon is caused by moon being slightly closer to Earth during its orbit which means that the lunar disk appears much larger. The supermoon on the 17th of November was the last one of 2024 and the next one is due October 2025.  With the sun setting over the horizon it allows the supermoon to be lit up a nice orange colour.

Promise it looked good from the air!
